About Our Design Partners Scheme Export Technologies allow other companies to resell the IRP to their own clients. This allows companies to keep their client, design their website and to offer them the a very advanced platform for E-Commerce. This will maximise your client's chance of success online. Design Partner Process Step By Step There are 3 parties involved in the process. 1) Export Technologies 2) The Design Partner company (the designer or web company) 3) The Customer who requires the solution STEP 1: The Design Partner contacts Export Technologies about their customer. STEP 2: Export Technologies examine the potential business - and will give a YES or NO answer to the Design Partner as to whether we believe the IRP Platform offers a potential solution. If the answer is NO we will have no further involvement. STEP 3: If the answer is YES - Export Technologies agree a design fee with the Design Partner in the event of the Customer choosing to set up on the IRP. The Partners design relationship with their Customer is guaranteed in a contract with Export Technologies in that we will never approach the Customer in any print or graphic design capacity. STEP 4: Export Technologies then approach the Customer and offer a contract price for the IRP Platform. This contract is between the Customer and Export Technologies. STEP 5: If the Customer accepts the contract with Export Technologies - the IRP Platform is set up. The Partner will be helped in the very simple process of designing the IRP interface. Once the interface is built - Export Technologies will pay the Partner the design fee. STEP 6: * In certain circumstances Export Technologies will pay the Partner a retaining fee for a set period. This is where the Partner introduces a Customer that already has a significant internet presence to Export Technologies. STEP 7: The success of the Customer through the IRP platform will lead to increased design requirements and business for the Partner. |
Commonly Asked Questions Q: How much do I earn if my Customer chooses the IRP A: The amount depends on the site that is set up. For the design work required it will be substantial and above market rate - we will agree this in advance with you.Q: How do I design a site for the IRP? A: If you come from a web or graphic design background - it is an easy process. All you need to be able to do is produce around 40 custom graphics as jpegs and gifs for your client. You also need to be able to edit a css stylesheet. These are FTPed into directories that we give you the details for. Q: Who organises servers and technical aspects? A: We do. Export Technologies takes care of the set up and technical aspects of the work and are responsible for all support for the IRP. We organise the servers and manage the service. Q: Who is responsible for the site when it is built? A: Export Technologies are responsible for all technical and running aspects of the site once it has been set up on the IRP. This frees the designer from the time consuming nature of dealing with a technically complex website. The Design Partner can still add design features and graphics for the Customer. Q: How can this benefit me or my company? A: It will benefit the designer and their company in a number of ways. Firstly they can offer a service for a very technical website that can also combine EPOS and telephone mail order and earn the design fee for a simple set up process. Secondly - as the website is likely to expand rapidly using the IRP platform - you will have a client that will have an increasing requirement for print, web and other forms of design. This side of your clients business will remain with you. |
